Several athletics were selected to compete at the English Schools Championships at Birmingham on 10 – 11 July 2026 with some impressive performances across the middle‑distance and steeplechase events.
In the Senior Boys 2000m Steeplechase, Harry Klein progressed through the rounds, running 6:12.73 in his heat before securing the bronze medal in the final with a personal best and club record of 5:57.63.
Competing in the Inter Girls 800m, Matilda Robertson produced a good performance, placing first in her heat in a time of 2:11.68, and later finished 6th in the final, clocking 2:10.52.
Sabrina Coppola Johansen delivered a solid run in the Senior Girls 3000m, placing 11th in 10:17.45. Whilst in the Senior Girls 1500m Steeplechase, Katie Ealden finished 8th, recording a time of 5:12.80.
