AFD athletes had some good performances from the England Athletics U16 & U18 Championships which were held at Bedford on 25 – 26 July 2026, with 2 athletes picking up medals.
Sabrina Coppola Johansen (U18W) secured a a silver medal, finishing 2nd in the 3000m Final in 10:09.61. Harry Klein (U18M) also picked up a medal taking bronze in the 1500m Final, clocking 4:03.97. Katie Ealden (U18W) placed 9th in a competitive 1500m Final with 4:51.55 and Matilda Robertson (U18W) ran 2:15.36 for 5th in the 800m Heats.
