Hampshire Athletics Multi Events and Quadrathlon (inc Walks)

Over the May Bank Holiday weekend Hampshire Athletics held the quadkids and multi-events championships including walks. AFD athletes had a brilliant day with some fantastic performances.
Quadkids Champs
In the U10 girls quad kids champs, Fearne Strong placed 1st claiming gold. Niamh Lumpkin took the silver in the U11 girls age group, while Lexi Akoshile placed 8th.
Over the U11 boys event Henry Routh placed 8th while Bart RenooiJ was 13th
Multi Event Champs
Competing in the Under 13 Boys Pentathlon Koen Renooji placed 2nd winning silver. While Joshua Buck placed 5th over in the U15 Boys Pentathlon.
Hampshire Athletics Walks Championships
AFD athletes claimed several medals in the Walks Championships.
Tafara Nyoni claimed gold in the 2000m U15 race walk. In the senior event Abigail Jennings competing as a guest won the 3000m walk in a time of 14.13.1, followed by Sue Davies who picked up a silver medal. Over in the mens event Ian Jennings claimed a bronze.
