Ellis Cross beats Sir Mo Farah to win the Vitality London 10,000
Ellis Cross pulled off one of the most notable victories of his career so far, outkicking pre-race favourite Sir Mo Farah to win the Vitality London 10,000 in a new PB of 28:40. In fourth place was Chris Thompson – his time of 29:10 was a new British record for over 40 men.George Gathercole completed the AFD men’s team in 31:17 – helping the club to first place, over a minute clear of Leeds City.
In the ladies race Steph Twell was 4th in 33:45, and Lesley Locks about 14th in 35:42.
