Andy and Steph get Olympic Qualification times

Congratulations to Andy Vernon on winning 10K at the Payton Jordon Invitational at Standford, California in a time of 27min 42.62seconds well inside the Rio Qualification Standards of 28 mins. In the womens 5K Steph Twell ran 15min 13.82 inside the Rio Olympic qualifing time of 15min 20seconds.

Southern League

AFD travelled to Braunton with 5 women and 4 men and finished 4th overall. The women’s team included: Sarah-Jane Anthony who did hammer, discus and shot, despite being injured!
