AFD travelled to Braunton with 5 women and 4 men and finished 4th overall.The women's team included: Sarah-Jane Anthony who did hammer, discus and shot, despite being injured! Ellen Franklin who ran the 100, 200 (which she got a PB in), the 400 and did the LJ Georgina Darnell 100, 200, 400, LJ Lindsay Badman who did the javelin, high jump and shot Emma Broadey image2in the javelin, hammer and discus. We won the 4x1 relay with Emma, Lindsay, Georgie and Ellen running. The men's team was: Sanchez Bredwood who ran the 100 and 200. Winning the 100m with no warm up as he arrived 5 minutes before the event! Richard Batchelor who ran the 800 and 5000 and a non-scoring 1500 Robbie Coupland 1500m Macgregor Cox 1500m Hopefully we will have a few more for our next fixture on the 31st May in Horsham!
