AFD at UK Inter Counties Championship

Aldershot Farnham & District runner Kitty Scott took the individual bronze medal in the under-13 girls’ race at the UK Inter Counties Cross Country Championships as she  led a Surrey quartet that included two of her club mates, Tilly Robertson and Katie McBride, to the silver medals in the team competition at Loughborough on Saturday.  AFD provided two thirds of the Surrey side that struck gold in the senior women’s contest: Georgie Bruinvels, Nancy Scott, Niamh Brown and Laura Gent.  Daniel Orbell was a member of Surrey’s third-placed team in the u13 boys’ event.
