AFD s Will Barnicoat won the European Cross Country Champioships at Piedmonte, Italy. Will outsprinted the Irish athlete Nicholas Griggs to win by one second also leading the British team to team victory.
Two other AFD members ran at the European Cross Country Championship both in the Senior mens race Ellis Cross who finished 37th and Jack Rowe who finished 44th in a field of 80.
