UK Indoor Championships – Birmingham

Congratulations to Abigail Jennings who picked up a silver medal in the 3000m walk in a time of 14:11.59.

Sprinter Annabelle Honey was also in action and placed 7^th in the 60m semi final with a time of 7.63 secs

BUCS Indoor Athletics Championships – Sheffield

13 – 15 Feb 2026

Luca Hamblen placed 6^th in the 800m final of the BUCS Indoor Athletics Championships in Sheffield clocking 1:58.48.

British Masters Indoor Championships – Lee Valley

21 Feb – 22 Feb 2026

The British Masters Indoor Championships were held at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre with several AFD athletes picking up medals.

Paul Roker picked up 2 gold in the M75 60m Hurdles and M75 200m. Mark Symes also collected 2 golds in the M55 800m and 1500m. In the throws Allan Leiper won gold in the M65 Shot. Whilst over in the walks Susan Payne took the W65 3000m walk title picking up gold.

Masters sprinter Eni Font Friede won 2 silvers in the W65 60m and 200m. Brian Stopher also collected a silver medal in the M45 800m and Nicola Hey won a bronze medal in the W50 shot. Full results below:
