Kitty Scott led a trio of Aldershot Farnham & District’s runners to the most emphatic team victory of the day as she won the under-13 girls’ race by more than half a minute (also the biggest margin of the day) at the latest meeting of the Hampshire Cross Country League. Katie McBride finished third and Julia Smykala fourth at Popham Airfield on Saturday.
AFD’s u17 men were nearly as dominant. Jacob Pearce was second, Alex Bishop third and Ben Everingham tenth. Charlotte Mitchell, eighth, Katie Ealden, ninth, and Tori Waller, twelfth, comprised the club’s team that won the u15 girls’ event.
AFD’s Niamh McLoughlin, Kiki Webb and Hannah Woolley took the honours in the junior section of the women’s race where the overall winner was their senior club mate Kate Estlea

. Ricky Harvie was the senior men’s winner, while his club mates Hamish MacLean, Brian Stopher and Simon Cooper won their team competition for AFD. There was another individual winner for AFD in the u13 boys’ race when Daniel Orbell won from club mate Blas Rivero-Stevenet.
