A good day at the races!There was a great turn out from AFD Masters group at the Chichester 10K at Goodwood race course which this year hosted the 2024 British Masters Athletics Federation Championships.There were PB’s galore throughout the squad with tremendous team and individual performances especially considering the blustery conditions. The day saw two AFD athletes crowned BMAF 10k champions, Lesley Locks (V45) and Mark Symes (V55), as well as two bronze awards for Stephen Blake (V35) and Koji Miyazaki (V60). There was team success too with AFD picking up three medals; M45 GOLD for Mark Symes, Simon Cooper and Darren Bradley, F35 SILVER with a team comprising of Lesley Locks (V45), Amy Kerr (V50) and Helene Regan (V40) and M35 BRONZE for Stephen Blake, Hamish Maclean and Jamie Quinlan. There was also a strong showing in the Senior Women’s race with a 1-2 for AFD with Lauren Hall taking the win over Emily Moyes and Emma Stevens in 10th. Well done to all represented AFD!
