At an overseas event in the Czech Republic, Abigail Jennings clocked a fantastic 1hr 42 mins 55secs for the 20k walk improving her club record.
World Athletics Cross Country Championships
Belgrade, Serbia

Will Barnicoat, James Dargan and Niamh Brown were recently selected to compete for Great Britian at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Serbia. In hot conditions James placed 47th in the U20 race. Whilst Will came 27th in the Senior Men’s race.
Fleet Half Marathon
24 March 2024
Aldershot Farnham and District had 19 athletes compete in the Fleet Half Marathon. 3 AFD athletes made the podium. Joshua Grace and Stephen Blake placed 2nd and 3rd. Whilst Georgie Bruinvels was first female clocking a time of 1:16.10. This time also broke the W35 half marathon club record. Another club record was also broken at the event, Emma Pearson who is in the W50 age group clocked 1:31.41 to break the W50 half marathon club record.

Abigail Jennings and Chris Snook both claimed golds at the UK Indoor Championships in Brimingham in the 3000m walk. AFD results below:

England Athletics Age Group Indoor Championships

Annabelle Honey broke the U20 60m club record at the England Indoor Championships, clocking 7.55 secs in her semi final. Annabelle went on to place 7th place in her final in a time of 7:57 secs. In the U17 800m Harry Klein ran 2:02.85 to place 3rd in his heat.

The womens squad of Emma Stevens, Harriet Pteedy, Lilly Coward, Katie Hughhes, Katriona Brown and Emily Moyes dominated the race towin by over 1 minute.
