The objective of Aldershot Farnham and District AC (AFD) is to help athletes realise there full athletic potential which we do by offering training facilities coaching and competition throughout the year.
We are normally able to take children from the age of 9. However due to high demand the waiting list for under 11 is currently closed. The normal method of entry to AFD is through the waiting list, perspective members being invited to attend a monthly induction (you will normally only have to wait till the next induction unless demand is too great). Athletes of a proven ability and district athletics finalists may be fast tracked.

Coaching is conducted by qualified UK Athletics Coaches (CRB checked). The club operates specialist training groups, although under 11 and 13 squads are expected to try all athletics disciplines.
The club expect all members to compete and operates in a range of athletics leagues and competition, from local district through to national championships. While the club caters for all standards the club has a number of international athletes.
The club is based at the Military Stadium, Queens Avenue, Aldershot. The main training times are Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 18:30 – 20:30
Options are available for a range of training on the track, on grass or on roads. Individual groups/coaches may have further arrangements.
The club is entirely run by volunteers, thus ensuring that athletics is a cheap sport. See the members Notice Board for annual subscription rates. There are no extra fees for training at the stadium and entry for league competitions is also included.

Membership is due in February each year.
Annual Subscription 2013 / 2014
Annual subscription renewals for membership to Aldershot, Farnham & District Athletics Club are due between 1st & 28th February 2013. Failure to renew your membership will result in you not being registered with England Athletics, which will exempt you from competing for the club and you will not be insured for use of the stadium or any other athletics facility.
Annual membership fees are as follows:
Age 17 and over: £100
Age 11-16: £90
Age 11 and under: £80
Family membership is offered at the price of three for the price of two (youngest age member free).
Family membership is only available to young dependents.
For members including 2nd claim members who do not train at Aldershot there is a 50% discount.
For 2nd claim members who do train at Aldershot and pay the EA affiliation fee to their 1st claim club there is a £10 discount on the full fee.
Cheques should be made payable to “AFD AC” and accompanied by a membership renewal form.
