The four team victories achieved by Aldershot Farnham & District's runners at the opening meeting of this season's Hampshire Cross Country League included a perfect score for the under-15 boys. English Schools junior champion Woody Jerome won by six seconds from Ryan Martin and Michael Gar who was third, a further three seconds back.
The club's u17 men had three in four. Dylan Spencer took the individual win while Elliot Pocock was runner-up and Jack Johnson closed the scoring trio. In the senior men's contest, where five score, AFD had the first four home. Abdulqani Sharif won from Sam Johnson, Callum Charleston and Philip Sewell, with Sam Eglen in sixth.
The senior women were led to their victory by Lauren Hall who finished third. Emily Moyes was fifth and Niamh Brown, the leading u20, completed the scoring trio in seventh. The club's u15 girls were second in their competition where they also had the individual runner-up. Pippa Roessler was five seconds behind Southampton's Isabelle Hinkley who had been fourth fastest at the previous Saturday's National Road Relay Championships. Emi Salvi came third when leading AFD to their second place in the u17 women's event.
