Hampshire CC League 22th Feb
The latest round of the Hampshire cross country league featured a perfect score for Aldershot Farnham & District’s under-13 boy runners. Sam Bodoano won by three seconds from Michael Gar and Harry Hyde came third ahead of Rudi Morrell who, although fourth, did not count for the team. The club had three of the first four in the u17 men’s event at Havant on Saturday. Robbie Coupland won by eighteen seconds from City of Portsmouth’s Jacob O’Hara who was followed by Ollie Percival and then Lewis Reid.
AFD’s u15 boys were also victorious with both the runner-up, Theo Doran, and third-placed Dan Howells. Xavier Booth completed the scoring trio in eleventh. Another of the club’s winning sides was the veteran men: Tad Dicker, fifth, Andrew Tappin, eighth, and James Radcliffe twentieth. Despite having their three in the top seven (including individual winner Tia Hansford), AFD lost the u13 girls’ race to Southampton who had three in five.
