Runners from Aldershot Farnham & District filled the podium after the intermediate boys' race at the Surrey Schools cross country championships on Saturday. Max Heyden won it by four seconds from Luke van Oudtshoorn and Marcus Shantry was third. The club had the gold and silver medallists in two other races at Reigate. Niamh Brown became senior girls' champion ahead of Tilly Horton and Charlotte Borgars beat Hannah Woolley to the u13s' title. Rudi Morrell was runner-up in the u13 boys' event while in the Hampshire Schools at Southampton there were medals for Robbie Coupland (senior boys' silver), Ryan Martin (junior boys' silver), Maisie Grice (silver) and Lizzie Squibbs (bronze) in the senior girls' competition and Alice Garner (junior girls' bronze).
