ROAD RELAYS
22th 23th September 2012
While we all know that the athletes will have trained hard and long to prepare for the relays, few will have realised that a great deal of work will have taken place to ensure the relays run smoothly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, however small amount of work
The work to prepare the course will start at 09:00 on FRIDAY 21rd SEPTEMBER. The course needs to be swept;
Bushes over growing the course need to be cut back;
Holes in the roads filled;
Barriers and cones placed round the course;
Signs placed round the course;
Signs placed on approach roads to direct competitors to the venue.
If you can spare some time the gate on the Fleet Road (A323) will be closed but unlocked, please bring broom, shovel, and or cutters.
On the day of the relays, we need marshals, and the site kept clean (there will be rubbish bags that need to replaced when full as well as litter to pick up, there will be a skip to but rubbish in)
After the last race we need to collect up cones, barriers, signs and tapes many hands make light work.

Saturday 22th September
11:00 Girls Under 13
11:35 Boys Under 13
12:30 Girls Under 15
1:15 Boys Under 15
2.10 Women Under 17
2:55 Men Under 17
3:55 Senior and Veterans
Sunday 23th September
12:30 Veteran Men
2:30 Senior Men
