Reason for the Proposal
Over recent years membership of the club committee has declined with few club members seemingly reluctant too take part. This has led to virtually all aspects of management necessarily being carrier out by those who remain and who have served for man years. Without new blood there will be no succession tom the management of one of the most successful Athletics club, in the country this end a revised structure is proposed as set out below. If accepted, then changes will be necessary as detailed in the following pages.

This could be done by email, BUT they must respond and communicate to include the officers.
Formal meetings at least 3 monthly.
Also, it may be reasonable for on person to represent two areas if necessary

6. OFFICERS INCLUDING PRESIDENT
The Officers shall comprise: President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and Coaching Coordinator. Clubmark Coordinator
The President shall be nominated by the Management Committee and the nomination put to the Annual General Meeting.
7. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The Management Committee shall comprise the Officers of the Club together with: Membership Secretary, Development Officer and Minutes Secretary. The Officers and the Committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Club. In addition to the Members appointed to serve on the Management Committee at an Annual General Meeting, the Management Committee may co-opt further Members as may be necessary to serve on the Management Committee until the next Annual General Meeting. Co-opted members shall be entitled to vote at the meetings of the Management Committee.
The Management Committee may appoint any Member to fill any casual vacancy on the Management Committee until the next Annual General Meeting when that person shall retire but shall be eligible for re-election.
8. SUB-COMMITTEES
8.1 General
The Officers shall be Ex-Officio members of any/all sub-committees of the Club.
8.2 Finance Sub-Committee
The Finance Sub-Committee shall comprise: The Honorary Treasurer, Membership Secretary and Admissions Secretary who shall have the power to co-opt such additional members as may be necessary to assist in the fund raising or other similar activities of the Club.
The Finance Sub-Committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee to account for all monies held by the Club, and shall ensure that the Management Committee is regularly informed of the status of such funds. Further it shall ensure that the Club has sufficient funds to carry out its athletic activities.
8.3 Coaching Sub-Committee
The Coaching Sub-Committee shall comprise: Coaching Co-ordinator and Coaches representing each event group, who shall have the power to co-opt such additional members as may be necessary to assist in meeting the coaching requirements of the Club.
The Coaching Sub-Committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee and shall ensure that the Management Committee is kept regularly informed of the coaching activities and requirements of the Club.
8.4 Competition Sub-Committee
The Competition Sub-Committee shall comprise: Fixtures Secretary, Officials Secretary and all Team Managers, who shall have the power to co-opt such additional members as may be necessary to assist in the organisation of fixtures.
The Competition Sub-Committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee and shall ensure that the Management Committee is kept regularly informed of the competitions and fixtures of the Club.
8.5 Development Sub-Committee
The Development Sub-Committee shall comprise: Development Officer, Coaching Co-ordinator and Welfare Officers, who shall have the power to co-opt such additional members as may be necessary to assist in the development of the Club.
The Development Sub-Committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee and shall ensure that the Management Committee is kept regularly informed of development plans and of national and local development initiatives and opportunities and how the Club is responding to them.
8.6 Clubmark Coordination / Sub- committee
The Clubmark Coordination / Sub- committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee and shall ensure that the Management Committee is kept regularly informed of Clubmark requirements and of and how the Club is responding to them
